Artist’s Comments

Painting  Dall Sheep in Glacier National Park is thrilling.  I have had the great pleasure of watching them as  they walk along cliffs without fear or hesitation.   Seeing these great American mountain sheep dance on the rocks high on the mountain is exciting and inspiring.  Their adaptation to overcoming the difficulties that nature and life on the mountain forces upon them  reminds me that all living beings share the common goal of overcoming barriers and difficult situations which seem impassible and impossible; and if we can handle difficult situations with as much grace and ease of the Dall sheep, we can reach the peaks of success that we dream of.
