Yellowstone Geyser, Thundering Eruption
Yellowstone Geyser: Thundering Eruption Original Landscape Painting by Stefan Baumann
12×18 Oil on Linen
Framed in Gold and Wood
Lower Right – Baumann Monogram GV Date: 2013
This painting of a Yellowstone geyser was painted between two storms en plein air in 2013 in Yellowstone National Park. Since this majestic white-cap geyser erupts every 12 hours, I painted the base of the geyser first, then waited for the eruption and captured it as it was happening.
