Lower Yellowstone Falls is one of the most iconic locations in America. Therefore, thousands travel to Artist Point to see for themselves America at its grandest. Painting in Yellowstone National Park offers so many places to paint. However, every artist who travels to Yellowstone must paint here at Artist Point, where Thomas Moran painted so many vistas of Yellowstone. It was one of these paintings that was delivered to the House of Representatives and the Senate to encourage them to vote to recognize Yellowstone as a National Park.
